The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards will be held live, tomorrow night, Sunday September 13th, at 9pm at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. You can watch the red carpet arrivals beginning at 8pm also on MTV. This is the 14th time that the VMAs are taking place in Manhattan.
Russel Brand is hosting the Video Music Awards again this year. This is either good news or bad news, since he is one of those celebrities that people tend to either love or hate.
What else can you expect to see at the 2009 VMAs?:
1. Janet Jackson will open the show with a musical tribute to the life and music of her brother Michael Jackson.
2. The Twilight/New Moon phenomenon will be very present. Ashley Green (Alice Cullen) is a celebrity fashion correspondent for the event and we will be treated to a preview of a New Moon trailer.
3. Lady GaGa will be performing. Will she wear a wilder outfil than usual?
4. Last year Russel Brand picked on the Jonas Brothers and their promise rings. Will he play nice this year, or will he find somebody else to pick on?
5. At this year's VMAs we are certain to see a great deal of Taylor Swift, Muse, Jay-Z, Lady GaGa, Megan Fox and anyone related to the New Moon movie,
The Video Music Awards are not known for the importance of its awards. People watch for the stunts, celebrities, and watercooler worthiness of the show. Don't want to be left out, watch Sunday September 13th at 9pm on MTV.
