MTV to cancel 'Teen Mom 2' due to Jenelle Evans wild behavior

Is “Teen Mom 2” about to end? While the show has a lot of stories left to tell, reports out January 28 reveal that MTV may axe the show thanks to one of the girls behavior. Apparently, Jenelle Evans shenanigans are too much for MTV and they may end the show as a result.

The network see’s the troubled star as a “liability.” Of course, it doesn’t help that they lost some credibility when original “Teen Mom” Amber Portwood picked prison over house arrest. While it hasn’t been confirmed, it seems that Amber’s stint in prison is what ended production on the original show. While Jenelle Evans isn’t in prison, she has been arrested several times during her years on television. There have been numerous drug rumors and, most recently, a rumor that she faked a pregnancy for money.

The shows, which follow pregnant teens through their struggles, have always come under fire for, what many people call, glamorizing teen pregnancy. While the shows do teach girls how difficult it is to be a pregnant teenager, the drama has seemed to overtake the original message.

Unfortunately, MTV essentially asked for this when casting Jenelle Evans for the show. Sure, drama makes for good television, but where is the line? Is it time to end “Teen Mom 2” altogether or just let Jenelle Evans go from the show?
