Reality TV stars Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood are in negotiations with MTV to bring viewers a fifth season of the hit series "Teen Mom." One notable absense will be Farrah Abraham who has not been asked back. A Wednesday report by US Magazine claims that MTV won't be offering a contract to Farrah because she is a "bad example."
In a show that glorifies the life of teenage motherhood, it seems that it would take a lot to be considered a bad example. Farrah Abraham has earned herself that title though after a series of stunts meant to draw attention have landed her the title of too bad for MTV.
It looks like MTV just went along with the demands of other "Teen Mom" stars Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood. Back in March it was reported that the trio wanted to bring back the show which ended it's fourth season in 2012. All three said they wanted to do the show but not with Farrah Abraham.
The ladies cited their reason for not wanting to film with Farrah because they don't want her around their children. Farrah has made two adult films now since filming "Teen Mom" and is currently writing a series of erotic novels. Although she is no longer a teen, MTV and the other cast members don't agree with what she's been up to in her off time and want nothing to do with her.
Of course, they could also be hesitant to tape with Abraham because she is incredibly dramatic, she is known to tell lots of untruths and will definitely hog as much camera time as possible. That surely has a lot to do with their refusal to work with the difficult reality TV star.
Farrah recently finished VH1's "Couple's Therapy" even though she wasn't part of a couple. She claims to be unphased by MTV's decision not to include her. She says she was never friends with the other ladies anyway.
