Maybe it was the show at the Converse flagship store in San Francisco this past summer, or maybe it was the rash of remixes and re-rendering of Trims' music that's been storming the airwaves and blogospheres. Perhaps it was one of the stellar performances that the San Jose 4-piece dealt out at C2SV and Live 105's BFD, or maybe it's the pure dance-ability of The Trims' latest release, "Delete You After," that has barged its way onto the collective, mass-cultural scene; still this may be The Trims' biggest break yet.
The Trims have made their way onto one of the longest-running, most successful reality-TV shows of the last 3 decades - on the first television channel devoted to music videos.
In the 28th season episode of "The Real World: Ex-plosion" entitled, "Excess Baggage," The Trims' song "Songs," is featured. The track comes off the band's 2013 E.P., "Delete You After." It's a testament to the SJ act's ever-growing (and well-deserved, mind you) popularity - not only in the bay area, but now the in "real world."
