Every year, MTV ruins friendships, creates opportunities for verbal battles, and baffles listeners and watchers when they release their "Hottest MCs in the Game" list. This year is no different. And I have a feeling, based on the list below, that more friendships will be ruined when they announce the #1 Hottest MC in the Game. I'm not sure how much credit everyday people are giving MTV for this list, but it seems that the artists really care about this rating (based on the attached video).
Each day next week, MTV will release #s 10-6. The top 5 will be revealed during a special roundtable show on Sunday, February 19th at 10:30 pm EST on MTV2. Check out the video for an extra-dramatic introduction/preview of the melee that will occur next week!
DC's/Maryland's own Wale is listed on the top 25. Any thoughts on whether he'll make it to the top 10?
