Catfish fans had better be ready for more shocking stories from the internet. Nev Schulman and Max Joseph are coming back to MTV for Catfish season 3 and it’s going to be a roller coaster ride. This upcoming season is promising to shock viewers as digital deceptions beyond love are revealed. According to TVbytheNumbers on Wednesday, the fans are going to see fake identities and broken hearts as people are too believing of what they see on the computer screen.
The Catfish cast is finding that the digital imprint of tracking down a person in the stories has become harder with the latest technology and this year the crew adapts new digital based research is done to locate people and more in-person meetings are happening, even if that means taking a plane to a faraway city.
What is even more surprising is the show is bringing along those folks who have instigated the search and their shocking responses to the stories are seen on camera. It’s obvious, just by watching the season premiere teaser, that people don’t believe they are being deceived until they see it happening and then they just break down.
Catfish is wildly popular thanks to the way the world works these days. It’s nice to see the show find out the truth in most of these situations, even if that does mean that many tears are shed.
