MTV's "Real World" Season 29 will be taking place in San Francisco and making it;s TV debut in 2014 according to the Hollywood Reporter reports on Thursday, August 15.
"Real World" executive producer Jonathan Murray stated:
"We're excited about returning to San Francisco, the location of one of our most memorable seasons of "The Real World."
"The city has always been a great place for young people to explore who they are and what they want to do with their lives."
This will be the second season of the popular MTV reality series that has taken place in San Francisco, the third season that aired in 1994 was also located in SF.
The most recent season "Real World: Portland" ended with 1.05 million viewers in June.
"Real World" has seen a decline in ratings in recent years and Variety reports that this may be the final season. The upcoming season may have some changes in the format in an attempt to freshen up the show.
