MTV is speaking out about the reports which claim "Teen Mom 2" has been canceled after five seasons.

Denying that the series has been either canceled or renewed, MTV told Wetpaint Entertainment on March 14, “No decisions have been made regarding additional season of Teen Mom 2.”

Earlier today, Radar Online reported that the ladies of the show, which include Jenelle Evans, Kail Lowry, Chelsea Houska, and Leah Calvert, have been informed that the show will come to an end after they wrap season five, and that the scenes they are filming now will be used for the second half of season five, which would be known as season 5b.

However, fans now know that there is no truth to the report.

Although season five was rumored to have wrapped in January, ahead of the filming of the reunion show in Los Angeles, the cast has continued to film, which has led to many reports of a season six, but as MTV said, no decisions have yet been made, so fans will have to sit tight and wait to see what happens after season five.

"Teen Mom 2" season five is currently airing on MTV every Tuesday at 10 p.m.
