Spring and summer on MTV are heating up. Joining the previously announced season three of Teen Wolf is the return of Awkward in April (date still TBA), as well as two brand new series beginning on May 2nd. 2013. 10 p.m. sees the premiere of yet another Jersey Shore spin-off, The Show with Vinny, while 10:30 p.m. is the scripted comedy Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous.
Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous follows comedian and YouTube sensation Bo Burnham in the titular role, a fresh out of high school teen who is looking for fame instead of attending college. Zach hires a camera crew to film him throughout his daily life as a part of this quest for overnight celeb status, but he doesn't actually possess any talent. The series will see him trying to be a celebrity chef and a ring-tone recording artist, as well as faking a missing person's case. The series also stars Kari Coleman, Tom Wilson, Cameron Palatas, Caitlin Gerard, Armen Weitzman, and Shelley Hennig.
