Many ski resorts are starting the countdown. Recently several of them made note that the ski season begins in 100 days.
While heading down the slopes on skis or a snowboard still lies more than three months away, it’s not too early to be thinking about purchasing a season pass.
A season pass is the ultimate lift ticket discount. At practically every ski resort in the Lake Tahoe region, go skiing or riding four times with a season pass and the pass becomes a bargain.
Mt. Rose ski resort in Lake Tahoe is still offering its season pass. A variety of season passes can be purchased, ranging from the Premier pass for adults at $399 to the $20 pass for Tykes who are 5-under. Seniors, college students and ages 13-22 can purchase the Premiere pass for $329. All Premiere passes are good any day with no blackout dates.
An Off-Peak pass, which is good Sunday through Friday, goes for $299.
Simply visit skirose.com and get your pass in a few days. Mt. Rose has streamlined the purchase process and passholders can even upload their own photo. The $5.95 shipping and handling fee is applied to all online pass purchases.
Two Pay Option: Split online pass purchase into two payments (second payment will be applied 45 days after your purchase.) A convenience fee of $9.95 will be applied to the first payment of the total purchase (if you’re buying passes for the whole family, you'll only be charged the $9.95 fee once)
