Mt. Rose ski resort in Lake Tahoe offering $19 lift tickets and other specials (Photos)

As the Lake Tahoe ski season begins to wind down a bit, beware of discount lift tickets, because they typically begin to surface this time of year.

Mt. Rose ski resort has some great discounted lift tickets for March that the resort announced this week.

Anyone skier or snowboarder 22-and-under can currently purchase a lift ticket online for $19. This “flash” sale is only good through midnight, Sunday, March 10.

Note that the $19 lift tickets must be used by Sunday, March 17. These tickets are subject to sell-out.

Mt. Rose features the area’s highest base elevation (9,700 feet at its summit) and is the closest resort to Reno. Mt. Rose is located on the Mt. Rose Highway.

Mt. Rose has added fresh snow from the current storm that has hit the Lake Tahoe region. The ski resort entered the week with a base of 4-8 feet of snow. The resort has three terrain parks and plenty of groomers.

$59 Wednesdays includes food

Mt. Rose introduced the “Wednesdays We Eat” special for the remaining Wednesdays of the season. The resort is currently selling $59 lift tickets for Wednesday skiing or riding. A lift ticket and free $20 food card comes with the $59 purchase. This special is only available online through www.skirose.com.

Mt. Rose is also offering other discount specials, including $49 bonus Mondays, and two-fer (lift tickets) Tuesdays and $29 Ladies Day Thursdays.
