Mt. Baldy celebrates 2012 with Moonlight Hike

You heard that right! Mt Baldy is welcoming 2012 with a Moonlight Hike & BBQ this coming Friday, January 6. There may be no snow currently at Southern California's best kept secret ski area, but that isn't stopping them.

Here are the details for their Moonlight Hike IX:

Dinner will be served from 6pm to 7:30pm. The menu will consist of: 24 hour marinated Tri Tip, BBQ chicken, Roasted Red Potatoes, Vegetable Medley and Missy Salad.

  • Mt. Baldy suggests beginning your hike up to Top of the Notch from the parking lot as early as 4pm, you will appreciate the day light. Another option is to ride the lift and take a hike once your up top and don't need to start at 4pm.

    Tickets down are only available at the Top of the Notch for $10. You may also get them in advance on their website for $17.50 right here: ADVANCE TICKETS.

  • Get out and enjoy those mountains! If you do, Mother Nature will know and she will bring the snow.
