Well known hardcore specialist Ox Harley has announced his involvement with the newly formed Mid-South Wrestling Association (MSWA) and expects a sell-out crowd on March 8, 2014 in Harriman, TN at the American Legion Hall.
"We plan on bringing in some of the best talent around," Harley said. "This MSWA will not be your ordinary extreme wrestling promotion or a bland technical group but a mixture of both that is sure to leave fans wanting more."
Harriman, TN, which is just outside Knoxville, will play host to what promises to be a rising new promotion, especially with Harley at the helm.
"I've been wrestling for over 15 years and I accept no failure," Harley lamented. "This is going to be a top notch promotion come hell or high water."
With so many great indie talents available who are working regularly or those who are looking for a break, Harley plans on finding the perfect marriage between the two.
"I have a group of hungry guys who want to make a name for themselves," Harley stated. "I plan on tossing them in there with a veteran or two and they can sink or swim. If they sink, they won't be back so it's going to be as tough on them as it is on me running the show."
Matches lined up include;
Kaden Sade v. Josh Crow
Toby Farley v. Alex "Pain" Stratton
Matt Raby v. Tristen Ramsey
John Murdoch v. Ox Harley
"The Cadillac Cowboy" Steven Burns v. Octavius Black
With a 7:30pm bell time and ticket prices of $7 for adults and kids 6-12 $5 with children under 6 free the building is sure to sell out.
Harley has been a well known fixture on the south including matches in the IWA Mid-South, HPW, and many others in Tennessee and Kentucky and it's no surprise Ox decided to run on his ouw.
"Not saying ever one is like this but I got tired of working for crappy promoters. They promise you one thing and when you get your pay envelope it is less that what you were promised.
"Everyone will get what I tell them they will get I promise you that," Harley smiled." I've been screwed over too many time by other promoters to become one of them."
