MSU releases 2013 schedule

The Spartans got their season underway last night with their first practice of 2013 and there are plenty of expectations in East Lansing. Inside Lacrosse has MSU ranked #6 in their pre-season poll of the MCLA as does Lacrosse Magazine.

MSU will scrimmage Division III Wittenberg on Feb. 16 before taking on CMU in the season and home opener.

Key games for the Spartans will be an early season clash with Grand Valley on Feb. 27 and a game with perennial power, Colorado State on March 16.

The sked also features a trip to Baltimore for games against Virginia Tech and Clemson. MSU closes out their regular season with a key match-up against Davenport on April 20 at East Grand Rapids High School.

The Green and White are looking for a return bid to the MCLA Tournament which begins on May 13.
