MSPCA events coming in May

Join the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) this May for some exciting events that will benefit the animals.

May 2
Hair of the Dog Wine Tasting and Art Show
Help out the animals at Nevins Farm by attending a wine tasting and art show from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., located at the Essex Art Center in Lawrence, Mass. Sample more than 50 wines and beers from around the world while enjoying food from Whole Foods. Peruse artwork from Merrimack Valley artists. All ticket proceeds will directly benefit Nevins Farm, as well as 10 percent of wine, beer and art sales. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. Mother's Day Flower and Plant Sale
Help homeless animals while you shop for Mother's Day. On Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., check out a variety of flowers at the Angell Animal Medical Center Lobby. Professional arrangements, hanging and potted plants will be available for purchase. All sales will benefit the Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center. MSPCA-Angell Spring Gala
The MSPCA-Angell Spring Gala begins at 6 p.m. at Space 57 at the Revere Hotel in Boston. Join others as they celebrate special animals that help others. For more information, please contact Dana Lawson at dlawson@mspca.org. To purchase tickets or sponsorship, visit the MSPCA.
