Start and finish your holiday shopping while helping a homeless animal in need
MSPCA

This year consider doing your holiday shopping while helping a homeless animal in need.  I heard about this upcoming event from a colleague and thought it would be great for locals and travelers alike to share in the holiday spirit.

For four days only, the MSPCA-Boston will be holding its Homeless for the Holidays annual winter gift and bake sale. You can complete several holiday errands in one easy stop and help the many animals cared for by the MSPCA’s Animal Care and Adoption Center.  Ann Clark Limited hand-made cookie cutters will be available in holiday and animal shapes.  Gifts for your furry best friend will include beds, scratching posts, leashes, collars, toys, treats and more from supporters including Up Country, Mimi Green and Wagatha’s. Aside from homemade treats, baked goods will include tarts, cakes, pies, cookies and more from some of Boston’s best-known bakeries, including the South End Buttery, Canto 6, and Bread and Chocolate.

Four Day Gifts and Bake Sale  DATES: Wednesday, December 9 and Thursday, December 10, 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m. and Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13, 10:00a.m.-6:00p.m.

Location: Angell Animal Medical Center lobby, 350 S. Huntington Avenue, Jamaica Plain (Wednesday, December 9 and Thursday, December 10) and MSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center, 350 S. Huntington Avenue, Jamaica Plain (Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13).
