When is it ever fair to belittle, demean and destroy the integrity of a family’s baby grandchild? Apparently the hilarity of seeing a loving grandfather holding his grandson on his knee was fair game to be mocked by MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry and her panel on her show. The grandfather happened to be Mitt Romney, former presidential candidate in 2012 and his grandson who was adopted happened to be black.
Only in the minds of liberals like the cast that laughed at a Romney family, could they find humor at the expense of a loving family. According to Blaze this liberal laugh riot broke out when they saw the photo of Mitt and Ann Romney’s grandson Kieran Romney sitting on his grandfather’s knee and the snickering erupted.
Pia Glenn broke out into song and sang, “One of these things is not like the other. One of these things just isn’t the same,” said Blaze. So now it was okay to target babies with sharp angry humor. The others on the panel erupted at the sight of a black baby being part of the Romney family.
This behavior has to be the lowest and quite possibly the most depraved act that a person and a panel could show toward a baby. Playing politics with a family’s love for their grandson is so low brow that it deserves a sharp rebuke from Americans, and especially liberals and civil rights activists.
But do not hold your breath, because somewhere down the pathway of life these decency challenged panelists lost their way. Their idea of humor only reveals their own self-loathing and perhaps having not received enough hugs from their mommies and daddies when they were young.
Whatever the reason, it is clear that most Americans were not watching since her show and the network itself has the lowest ratings of all news networks. Also, what can one sensible person of reason expect from Harris-Perry who once openly wore tampons attached to her ears as earrings on her news show.
What is hard to understand is why adoption of a black baby by a white family is something to find humor in? The answer is simple. It is the almost self-hate reaction that seems to automatically raise its head whenever a white person wants to adopt or show some sort of human kindness that the liberals and race-baiters like Harris-Perry literally thrives on. It is racism plain and simple. This time they tried to disguise it with limp liberal humor.
The backlash to these remarks on the MSNBC show lit up Twitter. Some samples that were provided by Twitchy were especially notable like Michelle Malkin’s. She Tweeted “Hi MSNBC racists who mock adopted babies: Lean forward…into a pit of hellfire.”
Another Tweet was supplied from Jason Sywak @Sywak who wrote, “I’ll hand it to some of these liberals, they are hella good at being under-the-radar racist,” according to Twitchy.
Unfortunately the cries of outrage from liberals at Harris-Perry’s using racist-tinged humor have been deafeningly silent. The civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson who demanded a meeting with A&E over Phil Jackson’s off air comments is now dead silent. Why is he not demanding a meeting with MSNBC to denounce this racism and demanding for Melissa Harris-Perry’s resignation?
The answer is crystal clear. Racism that is practiced against whites is accepted and tolerated and even encouraged as displayed by that on-air circus. Attacks on a black baby or an interracial baby are okay as long as the people doing the pile on are other blacks or white liberals.
The one saving grace in all of this is that little Kieran Romney is in a loving family and surrounded by caring cousins, aunts and uncles and grandparents. For Melissa Harris Perry and her MSNBC panel crew, their own race hate only brings out more of America’s colorblind love.
What a way to begin 2014 – out with hate and in with a Family with God’s color-blind eternal love.
