There is a new gal on the scene and she’s running for Congress, i.e. Congresswomen for the 14th Congressional District. Watch out she’ll remind you of those tried and true, old-fashioned republican virtues. Why? Well, anyone who admonishes a local political meeting (Association of Bay Area Governments) to say the Pledge of Allegiance has got to be in the public eye in some capacity. That chide at their public duty was enough to get those public officials to acknowledge their error and concede that they’ll say the Pledge in the future. Good for you Debbie. As Ronald Reagan said, every generation has to discover for itself what it means to an American. “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” He said. “We didn't pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.” Debbie Bacigalupi is prepared to do just that. She’s not reactionary. She’s foundational, harkening back to America’s founding principles and traditions.

Debbie is at the Republican National Convention in Tampa FL. this week. She will also be attending the San Mateo Labor Day Weekend Millbrae Festival on September 1 and 2 (Sat/Sun).

Debbie is also holding a fundraiser on September 5.
