Well what a day we have in store with this first frontal boundary heading our way. Currently we have temps in the mid 70's, while Northern MS is in the 30's, that is headed our way, but for that to occur, something has to give and that something is the chance to see some SEVERE weather later this afternoon and evening.
The left graphic image depicts what is in the making for FRI/SAT and how it will impact us here along the coast.
The right image is looking at the SUN-TUE setup. This setup is going to be a Low pressure developing in the Northwest Gulf of Mexico and tracking very closely onshore near the MS Gulf Coast, this will bring with it stronger winds, heavy rainfall, along with another chance for SEVERE weather, while on the backside overnight Monday into Tuesday a little bit of moisture may still be left as another shot of Arctic air filters into the region, this gives \us a small window of possibly seeing a winter mix.
Enjoy and if your traveling today be prepared for many weather conditions across the country.
