'Mr. Peabody and Sherman' isn't like bullwinkle anymore

For those of you who can remember the dog who adopts a boy as his sidekick, “Mr. Peabody and Sherman”. Well, they’re back. Yes, the big screen has found a way to have 91 minutes of entertainment with this cleaver duo.

This time travel plot takes them through historic events. They go back to mingle with historic icons like George Washington and King Tut. In time travel movies, there is always an event that leads to a devastating change in history. It begins when Sherman breaks the time travelers rule and rips a hole in the universe while going for a spin in Mr. Peabody’s time machine. Of course, Mr. Peabody has a genius plan that will save the day.

“Mr. Peabody & Sherman” is a clever twist and a good history lesson for the young at heart. Kids may have a hard time associating the historic events and the long list of achievements that Mr. Peabody has made.
Watching some old cartoon segments got the same point across in a shorter amount of time.

The jokes are funny and some touching moments too. The movie has great 3D animation. This animated adventure is still a good outing for the whole family.

The voice for Mr. Peabody is performed by Ty Burrell and Max Charles is the voice for Sherman.
