The grand opening celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Digz will be here at the boutique on Clark

Come celebrate the grand opening of Mr. & Mrs. Digz this evening from 5-8PM with music, food from Deleece, drinks, and- of course-shopping.

Shop for paintings, sculptures, new and used women’s and men’s clothes, and jewelry and accessories made by local artists including store owner, Mrs. Digz Herself: Emilia Dlugolecka.

After becoming one of the millions of Americans laid off from her corporate job this past January as a project manager, Dlugolecka decided to open a business of her own that would help fellow Chicagoans who are feeling the pinch.

“I always wanted to open a boutique,” she says, “and I wanted to be able to provide a place where people in this neighborhood could afford great new and vintage goods at a reasonable price despite the economy.”

There is no Mr. Digz. She just wanted to make it clear that Digz is not just for the ladies. So come one, come all to Mr. and Mrs. Digz tonight.
