Brian Keith Dalton received an award from the Independent Investigations Group (IIG) on August 21, 2010 for his work on the production of Mr. Deity.
The IIG investigates fringe science, paranormal and extraordinary claims from a rational, scientific viewpoint, and disseminates factual information about such inquiries to the public.
The IIG was founded at The Center for Inquiry (CFI), which is a non-profit educational organization established in 1991 by philosopher and author Paul Kurtz.
CFI is affiliated with the Council for Secular Humanism (CSH).
The Atheist Community of Tulsa and the Humanist Association of Tulsa are affiliated with CSH.
