First, Irrational Games rocked the world with their 'Bioshock' shooter series. They ended the trilogy with 'Bioshock: Infinite,' still grasping the heart strings and minds of players all around. However, some crushing news was announced from studio director Ken Levine, that Irrational Games will be shutting its doors.

The company is going to lay off all but 15 workers according to Levine, who said that the company is moving in a new direction with Take-Two productions. Levine is not divulging any more information about new possible projects but did mention in an interview that he will be supporting the employers of Irrational while they try to find new ventures for themselves. It's a sad time for all.
