MPT presents free Shakespeare preview/discussion events throughout Maryland (Photos)

Did you know? You could discover the stories-behind-the-stories of some of William Shakespeare's greatest plays in terms of how they came to be written, how they have been performed and how they have survived over 400 years.

Maryland Public Television has television episodes scheduled on Fridays at 9 p.m. from January 25 to February 8, 2013. Find all air times here. You can watch a preview here.

What: Maryland Public Television (MPT) and Chesapeake Shakespeare Company (CSC) invite you to
free Shakespeare preview/ discussion events. Check out television excerpts of Shakespeare Uncovered and join in meaningful discussions led by CSC artistic staff in three different location throughout the state.

Who: Open to the general public especially theatre lovers.

• Wednesday, January 30, 2012 starts at 7 p.m.
Richard II and Henry IV-V at Peter's Pour House Restaurant in Baltimore

• Tuesday, February 5, 2012 starts at 7 p.m.
Hamlet and the Tempest at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis
