Members of the Tuesday Musicale and Opera Pasadena are celebrating the 256th birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with a concert on Feb. 3, 2012 at Altadena Baptist Church.
Selections from Mozart's chamber music and operas are
- The first movement (Allegro) from the Clarinet Quintet in A Major , K581 -Trudi Anderson, clarinet, Roberta Wilcox, violin I, Barbara Von Slomski, violin Ii, Gretchen Byron, viola and Kim Ruys de Perez, violoncello
- Sonata in e minor, K304, Ophelia Nanagyulyan, violin, Barbara Ebert, piano
- Excerpts from Don Giovanni – “La ci darem la mano,” “Vedrai, carino,” “Deh vieni alla finestra” and from The Magic Flute – “We live through love alone,” Allisonne Crawford, soprano and Robert DeVaughn, baritone
- The first movement (Allegro) from the Clarinet Concerto in A Major, K622, Emily Denney, clarinet, Jamie Caridi, piano
- Trio in C Major, K548 -- Svetlana Oganesian, violin, Helen Taylor, violoncello, Barbara Ebert, piano
