Movies for the Blind offers audio described recordings (MP3's) of public domain films and television shows. This free service allows you to download audio descriptions of films and television shows. Most of the offerings are rather dated but some offer a view through the wayback machine to the early days of movies and television. Among television offerings are television classics like the Andy Griffith Show and Ozzie and Harriet.
It should be noted that free classic television is also available at http://www.archive.org/ though these are the original airings and do not have the audio descriptions augmenting them.
With the price of cable television continuing to climb in the Dallas area, and the fact that many of these television classics are no longer aired on cable channels it is a way to view or listen to some of your favorites.
