Movie review: House at the End of the Street (2012)

Mother (Sarah - Elisabeth Shue) and daughter (Elissa - Jennifer Lawrence) move in to a new house. The new house happens to be right next door to a house in which a young girl has murdered her parents. The surviving son (Ryan - Max Thieriot) still lives there and is harassed by fellow townspeople.

Elissa befriends Ryan, falls in love with him and learns that Ryan was actually the product of mentally ill parents and the one who consequently offed them.

P.S. He's mentally ill.

The House at the End of the Street was nominated for the DGC Craft Award in the same year that it was released to the public.
