Jack Nicholson is one of Hollywood's most famous and successful actors with a career spanning over five decades.
Rumors have been swirling that Nicholson has retired from acting at the age of 76. Why? The 76-year-old actor is dealing with memory loss and can no longer remember the lines being asked of him.
One of Hollywood's all-time greats, Nicholson has not appeared in a movie since 2010, when he joined the cast of How Do You Know, alongside Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson.
Nicholson recently turned down the chance to play an alcoholic father travelling with his son to pick up a million-dollar lottery prize in Alexander Payne's Nebraska. 77-year-old Bruce Dern took the role instead and eventually won the best actor prize at this year's Cannes film festival.
Until we hear directly from Nicholson, nothing is official and confirmed.
