Connecticut locations are picked and ready to go for an independent movie to start filming. Scenes will be shot in Milford, Trumbull, Bridgeport and Fairfield, in spots that look “very New England.” The film, which is called, “Isn‘t it Delicious,” started filming on Wednesday, according to the Connecticut Post.
Christ Church Tashua in Trumbull, Milford Harbor, an apartment in Bridgeport and the streets of Fairfield will all be places the film crew is due to use in the movie.
The movie is about a very loving Catholic family who is also very dysfunctional. Stars will include Keir Dullea, (2001: A Space Odyssey), Mia Dillion and Tony Award winner Alice Ripley.
Today the film crew will wrap up the filming in Trumbull and travel to Milford next.
The story this movie tells is very relatable to the many loving families out there that still hinge on some type of dysfunction. Ripley describes the family as “people who are flawed and awkward to each other.” The same people are redeeming as they “keep showing up unexpectedly when they are needed the most.”
Connecticut residents have had their fair share of movie sets being created in the Nutmeg State this summer, with the big budget film, “The Wedding,” filming in Greenwich. The stars for this production are De Niro, Keaton, Williams, Sarandon, Heigl and many more!
