Mouseketeer  Annette Funicello involved in house fire suffers from smoke inhalation [video]

Disney's  former "Mickey Mouse Club member and "Beach Blanket Bingo" star  Annette Funicello was  involved in a house fire in her  Encino home near L.A.  on March 1, 2011  and suffered from smoke inhalation.
 
Funicello age 68, has been suffering a long battle with multiple  sclerosis  was home with her nurse and husband at the time of the fire. Luckily the fire was extinguished in about 30 minutes.
 
 
Cincinnati's WLWT Channel 5 the local NBC News affliate reported that Funicello's ex husband Jack Gilardi stated that Annette's home recieved a great deal of damage during the fire, but thankfully no one was seriously harmed.

Annette Funicello first found fame in the 1950's as a club member on the original "Mickey Mouse Club,"  She later went on to to film the 1960's beach party films with co-star former teen idol Frankie Avalon.
