If you have lost someone who has passed away, it is important to remember the good times you had with them. It is healthy to sit back and think about all the good things that they did, you may even write it in a letter and look back at that letter every once in a while and smile at how proud you feel about your loved one.
Thinking back about your loved one is healthy. If you try to keep it all bottled up and do not express your feelings, it could be like a time bomb, and you do not want to explode. Take some time with a good friend to reminisce about your loved one and tell them the good things about your loved one. Think and talk about the funny times you had together and laugh about it.
There is also therapy provided through the Canadian Mental Health Association and you can go and meet with other people who have also lost a loved one.
