Mountain Khakis “Built for the Mountain Life” will be coming out with some premier, quality outdoor-lifestyle apparel for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.

The women’s Granite Creek Pant gives you a comfortable fit. Are you all too familiar with trying to squeeze into pants that are supposedly your size, and you end up jumping up and down to pull them on or laying on your bed, struggling to pull them over your hips? You won’t have to do that with the Granite Creek Pant. When you order a specific size, that’s the size you’re going to get. You won’t end up with a size six that feels like a size two or a size eight. These are pants specially designed for women.

Granite Creek is a quick-dry, UPF 50+ pant that is lightweight with a grosgrain-lined waistband. Granite Creek pants will be available in Fall 2010. They will definitely handle that long trek of a hike you’re planning as well as your slot canyon adventure while you’re rappelling down that 300 foot cliff, climbing up sandstone walls, or journeying up the trail to Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park.

The men’s Granite Creek Pant has that same, rugged versatility as the women’s pant. There are three zip pockets for accessories, and it’s just an all around feel good kind of pant. It is also available in a convertible for men with easy on-off leg zippers that are color-coded, so you won’t get confused when trying to zip those pant legs back on.

There is a Granite Creek short that will also be available to both men and women in Spring 2011. New colors for the Granite Creek line will be pine, ash, birch and earth. These are warm, natural tones that you’ll absolutely love.

Other items that will be included in the Spring 2011 collection will be the new headwear collection that includes the MK Soul Patch Cap, Women’s Organic Corps Hat, Wilson Beach Hat, and MK Trucker Cap. The new organic T-shirt collection is made out of 100% certified organic cotton and certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard which means there are no chemical pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically engineered ingredients.

New colors have been added to the Teton Twill pants and shorts collection. For the men’s line, sand and olive are the new colors and for the women’s line you’ll see a bright, beautiful Nantucket red and mint julep.
