Consumers will get all of this from Kickstart in an 80 calorie dose of the 16-ounce drink that comes in two flavors called orange citrus and fruit punch.
Even if Kickstart will be in the energy drink category, Opposing Views says its maker makes the point that this new drink will contain "less caffeine than Monster or Red Bull" and will not "contain any of the mysterious ingredients that have put mainstream energy drinks on the lawmakers and consumer advocates hot seats."
That said, according to the Associated Press via Yahoo!, back in the summer of 2012, PepsiCo tried out the Mountain Dew breakfast market. That when Taco Bell starting serving Mtn Dew A.M, which is a blend of of Mountain Dew and Tropicana orange juice.
During that announcement last August, Beverage Digest first mentioned PepsiCo's plans to debut Mountain Dew Kickstart, the new energy drink that will help wake up America in a whole new way.
