The Mount Prospect Lions Club Festival offers five days of fun from July 1 – 5 in Melas Park near the corner of Central and Busse Roads in Mount Prospect. The 71st Annual Mount Prospect Lions Club Festival features carnival rides, Taste of Mount Fireworks by Fishmonk sxcProspect, Fourth of July fireworks, musical entertainment and fun for the entire family.

Fourth of July Fireworks
There will be two fireworks shows held during the festival. On July 1 and July 4 there will be a fireworks spectacular at 9 30 pm.
Fourth of July Parade
The Fourth of July Parade is on July 4, starting at 1:00 PM.
Food and Drink
Refreshments will be available, with food from area restaurants at the Taste of Mounty Prospect and the Miller Beer Garden.
Musical Entertainment
  • July 1 – One Way Street, Catfight
  • July 2 – Robin Rogers, Lonnie Brooks
  • July 3 – One Way Street, Brace for Impact and Dot Dot Dot
  • July 4 – Thunder Road and The Fairlanes
  • July 5 – Ronnie Rice, Jimmy Sohns, Instant Karma
