Plans are now underway for Mount Auburn Hospital Auxiliary’s Annual Spring Benefit Fashion Show and Luncheon. The event will be held on Wednesday, April 30th at 11:00am at the Oakley Country Club in Watertown, MA. New this year, fashions showcased will be provided by Perceptions, a boutique and gallery located in Concord Center.
The Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon, an initiative of the Auxiliary’s Watertown Committee, kicks off the organization’s spring fundraising efforts. This year's proceeds will support the special quality of care that Mount Auburn Hospital provides every day to patients and their families in the communities it serves. The funds will help upgrade clinical facilities, recruit and retain the best physicians and nurses, acquire the latest in medical technology, and support the hospital’s mission to teach the medical leaders of tomorrow.
Overseeing planning for the event are Sylvia Whitney, of Watertown, and Ruth Pratt, of Lexington. Auxiliary members and friends of the Mount Auburn Hospital community will take to the runway to model selections of spring and summer fashions from unique and handcrafted clothing lines, jewelry, and accessories carried by Perceptions.
“We are thrilled to be working with Perceptions for this year’s Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon, and to have both Sylvia Whitney and Ruth Pratt’s continued involvement as co-chairs for this event,” said Donna Smerlas, Auxiliary President. “Perceptions has a 40-year history in the industry and we are looking forward to hosting another successful fashion show and fundraiser.”
Fashion Show and Luncheon tickets cost $60 with $30 tax deductible as a donation to the Mount Auburn Hospital Auxiliary. The Oakley Country Club is located at 410 Belmont Street in Watertown, MA.
The mission of the Mount Auburn Hospital Auxiliary is to work in partnership with the Hospital to promote and advance the health and welfare of the communities the Hospital serves.
