Nitroplus is a Japanese software company that develops visual novels and hosts music festivals. In 2006, Nitroplus created a mascot for their musical events; a busty pink-haired anime girl named "Super Sonico". The character gained extreme popularity and inspired a flood of fan-art, mostly of an erotic nature. An enormous amount of Sonico merchandise is now available, from artbooks to figurines to music albums. The girl has even starred in her own video games on the PC and 3DS, and even has her own animated TV show in Japan.

The PC game, SoniComi - short for "Sonico Communication" - is about Sonico's career as a model. The player assumes the role of a cameraman and takes pictures of Sonico striking various poses in skimpy outfits.

3 years after its initial release, SoniComi is being re-released for PS3 under the name "Motto! SoniComi". Nitroplus has released several trailers and screenshots of the game which focus almost entirely on showcasing the number of barely-there costumes and embarrassing positions that Sonico will be in.
