The partnership will include cross promotional advertising, marketing and branding opportunities, ticket and racing promotions and a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series show car display at Pole Position Raceway’s Buffalo and Syracuse locations. Matt Kenseth’s No. 20 Dollar General Toyota will be on display at Destiny USA in Syracuse starting April 8th to celebrate the new relationship.

“On behalf of the entire WGI team, it is an honor to partner with one of the fastest growing sports in the country and entertainment industry,” stated WGI President, Michael Printup. “Everything we do is for our fans, and this partnership is an exceptional example of that. We know our fans will enjoy all of the amenities that this partnership with Pole Position Raceway will bring.”

“We are pleased to announce this exciting new partnership with Watkins Glen International,” said Karen Davis-Farage, president and co-owner of the Pole Position Raceway franchise. “We pride ourselves on providing the most authentic and exhilarating racing experience short of climbing in an actual race car. We look forward to partnering with The Glen and hosting racing fans with a need-for-speed throughout Western New York.”

According to WGI's press release, Pole Position Raceway was created "by racers for racers." The experience was developed with athletes such as 2004 NASCAR champion Kurt Busch, seven-time AMA Supercross champion Jeremy McGrath and X-Games freestyle gold medalist Mike Metzger.

Located at Destiny USA in Syracuse, NY, at Walden Galleria in Buffalo, NY; next to Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ, on Long Island – and soon in Savannah, GA – Pole Position Raceway’s facilities feature the high-performance, all-electric, emission-free indoor karts capable of speeds 45 MPH+. In addition to karting, the franchise offers arcade games and space for private parties or corporate events.

Pole Position Raceway features adult karts for racers who are at least 58 inches tall and separate junior karts for kids who are at least 48 inches tall.

Since the karts use electric technology, there are no fumes.
