The Pomona Fairplex was abuzz with automotive activity as the sixty fourth Grand National Roadster Show took place the weekend of January 25-27, 2013.
Granted the cars are the stars but for a motorcycle enthusiast there is no disappointed in attending this show for among the sixteen hundred cars are just a tad over four dozen motorcycles, from old Indians and Harley-Davidson to big and bad Boss Hoss V8 powered motorcycles. There were also some Triumph and Ducatis plus several motorcycles built by Denver’s Choppers.
Many of the vendors had motorcycles featured as part of their displays, House of Color had a beautiful blue Harley-Davidson touring to promote their paints and Adam “Gasser” Gaspic , President of Gasser Customs in North Hollywood had his Honda CB 350 to showcase his talents and products.
Many of the well-known vendors were in attendance including Riverside’s own K&N Filters, Edelbrock, Mothers, and Coker Classic Tires.
Vendors were set up all over the Fairplex and you could anything from a wallet or T-shirt up to and including cars or the parts to make one. Other activities included bands, pin striping contest and plenty of food vendors were on site including Pinks Hot Dogs and Hot Dog on a Stick.
Exact numbers on attendance are not in yet, but I can tell you that the all the buildings were full and the outside was crowded, safe to say it was a good turnout.
