Motorcycle commuting made easy with SkyRoll Luggage

What is your favorite mode of transportation?  For many reading this column, the consensus is a clear “two wheels!”  However, what if you are expected to dress in a certain manner once you reach your destination and jeans and t-shirt is not a part of the dress code?  What if you must show up in a two-piece suit or skirt and heels?  Do you forego the motorcycle?

Now, with SkyRoll Luggage, there is no need to always take the car if your workplace has a strict dress code.  With SkyRoll Luggage, you can pack away your dress up clothes, strap them on the back of your bike, and be assured they will be wrinkle-free when you put them on.

  • This is how it works:  SkyRoll is a two-part system with a garment bag wrapped around a hollow cylinder.  When packing, you roll off the garment bag, lay it out flat, and then load clothes into the separate compartments.   The hollow cylinder can hold your dress shoes, toiletries, etc.  Once everything is packed, simply roll the garment bag around the cylinder and secure with the adjustable straps.  Since the clothes are rolled, wrinkles are minimized.

SkyRoll Luggage was originally developed for air travelers to avoid having to check baggage or mess with awkward traditional garment bags.  The SkyRoll system fits easily into the overhead compartments of airplanes and is easy to handle (unlike the more traditional garment bag).

A couple of years ago, SkyRoll introduced luggage for the motorcycle commuter.  Made with durable 1680 denier ballistic nylon fabric, the motorcycle bag also includes an adjustable sissy bar strap, wrap-around adjustable tie-down straps, adjustable tie-down straps on each end, metal D-rings on top, reflective piping on front and ends for night visibility, and a rain cover with reflective logo for enhanced visibility in bad weather.

The SkyRoll measures 23” long x 8.5” wide (empty).  The detachable garment bag measures 47” x 22” and has room for about two suits; the system weighs about four pounds empty.

SkyRoll motorcycle luggage is available through their website: www.skyroll.com and costs $199.99 (free ground shipping in the continental United States).  They take PayPal and most major credit cards processed through PayPal.

So now your excuses for not riding to work or to an out-of-town wedding are gone.  With SkyRoll you can roll your suit and roll into town on two wheels!
