Even with Ryan Villopoto and Eli Tomac clinching their respective titles last weekend in Utah doesn't mean today they will race with any less desire to win. It also doesn't mean they are a lock to win at Lake Elsinore today.
Of course how could you bet against them when they both have the momentum on their side from their dominating rides during the second half of the series. Either way there are still points to be had and victories to accumulate so you can bet that even if these two rack up more wins it will be amazing to watch.
So make sure your DVR is set because even with this Pro Motocross Championship Series finale being on the west coast doesn't mean the east coast riders and fans will want to miss a single minute of coverage.
This coverage is a little different today also. So be aware that their has been some network changes for Moto 2. It is the same channel as Fuel but it is now called Fox Sports 2. So double check your recorders because the new channel has to be programmed manually on your DVR. Once it is set up this initial time you can go back to enjoying your day out at the track and the race footage will be waiting for your arrival to the coach when you are ready to view.
If your day ends up putting you in front of the TV earlier than this evening and you just have to watch it live because you can't wait. Well you are not alone. There are many fans that will purposely schedule there day around this finale. So go right ahead. Don't feel guilty and tune in because it isn't until the Motocross of Nations in September that you'll see a race with this caliber of talent. Then there is only the Monster Energy Cup in October. After that you have to wait until the Supercross series begins in January before the best of the best will be battling it out on the tough, challenging tracks we've come to expect these riders to face.
The times are a little different today also so pay special attention to the list below.
- 450 Moto 1: NBC Sports Network begins at 3:30 pm
- 240 Moto 1: NBC Sports Network immediately after 450 Moto 1
- 450 Moto 2: Fox Sports 2 begins at 6:00 pm
- 250 Moto 2: Fox Sports 2 immediately after 450 Moto 2
Of course if you want to view it via the internet the entire race will be live on Allisports.com.
