Motley Crue drummer sued for assault

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee has been slapped with a lawsuit for allegedly assaulting a photographer.

According to an article posted yesterday UltimateClassicRock.com, the veteran rock badboy supposedly “touched and/or struck” the Florida resident last summer while he was attempting to take pictures of the musician at a public beach, causing unspecified injuries.

Hernadez is being represented by Attorney Robert Dixon, whose firm specializes in personal injury cases.

Motley Crue is currently on tour with Kiss in Australia and recently announced an 18-city spring tour of Canada.

Featuring the original line up of Lee, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars and Vince Neil, their Canadian tour kicks off on April 20 in Penticton, BC at South Okanagan Events Centre and winds up on May 14 in Ottawa, ON at Scotiabank Place.

Opening for the “Dr Feelgood” hitmakers on all dates will be Toronto rocker Ian Thornley’s band Big Wreck.

Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster, Evenko.ca and local venues.

See Motley Crue’s official website for more details.
