Disney founded an entertainment empire, including movie, theme parks and television. Following his death his company would successfully enter into cruise lines and radio businesses.
Disney’s visionary leadership spurred the creativity in his company’s cartons by rewarding every ideas with extra pay. He also is credited with developing "3D" cartoons by using multiple plates in the animation process.

Among the most major accomplishments for Disney was the building of Disney World in Orlando. As the park was opening it is said his brother, Roy, was overseeing the project from the air.
