Mother's Day is Coming - Help Dogs in Need!

See also

Mothers come in all forms: your biological mother, your mothering relative or friend who supports you emotionally, even the mother of your favorite pet... we're all mothers in different ways. For those of us who are mothers to our pets, or who want to help pets in need, Mother's Day is a time of gratitude for all that our pets have brought to our lives.

One way to help pets in need this season is to support spcaLA. Did you know that there is no umbrella group or national organization supporting our local spcaLA? You can help support them and take Mom out for a wonderful night at the 15th Annual Mercedes-Benz Wavefest! The Wavfest is this Saturday, May 7th at The Greek Theatre and is featuring Roberta Flack, KEM, Macy Gray, and Sheila E.. Ms. Flack is donating $5.00 from each ticket purchased to spcaLA!

You can buy tickets by using this link: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0900467FA08956C6?artistid=1420207&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1&brand=greektheatre&camefrom=cfc_ndrcon_wavefest_SPCA and enter the password WAVECHARITY into the special offers box.

spcaLA offers other great gift ideas for Mom including hats, t-shirts, and even donor tiles. Check out their online marketplace at http://spcala.com/ecommerce/store.php

Happy Mother's Day!
