Mother's Day freebies 2014 is here and a number of national chain restaurants are offering free meals. There are also other great deals being offered this Sunday in honor of paying tribute to mom and all she does.

According to USA Today on May 9, some big-name casual dining and fast-food franchises are giving away free beverages, desserts, and free meals this Mother's Day weekend.

Boston Market will serve a free meal to mom when one Individual Meal is purchased. No coupon is required for this deal.

Spaghetti Warehouse will hand out a coupon good for one free 15-layer lasagna whenever a meal for her is purchased.

McCormick & Schmick's will give a free chocolate-dipped strawberry to mothers who eat there.

Starbucks will have a buy-one-get-one free Teavana Oprah Chai Tea Latte while supplies last on Sunday.

Hooters has a good deal for moms in an effort for the restaurant to pay tribute to them. A free entree is available for mom up to a $10 value when they purchase a drink.

In addition to the above 2014 Mother's Day freebies, Daily Finance reported that Texas Roadhouse is holding a sweepstakes for a three-night stay at a spa and resort in Phoenix. The prize includes roundtrip airfare for two and a $500 spa certificate. Entry for the drawing ends on May 12. Be sure to enter on the restaurant's Facebook or Pinterest page.

Champps Americana has a special deal for any mother who's a member of its MVP League and uses her membership card between May 9 and 11. $10 off a $30 purchase reward is loaded onto her card every month.
