  • Mother's Day Brunch @ Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront: Located on the St. Johns River in downtown Jacksonville, the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront is an excellent place to stay in Jacksonville if you are in town for a Jags game, or just visiting to enjoy the city and its 45+ golf courses and nearby beaches. The hotel features 963 rooms and over 110,00 square feet of meeting and exhibition space, which is highlighted by their Grand Ballroom measuring 28,000 square feet. Guests can enjoy the hotel's rooftop pool, lobby bar, and of course, top-notch dining. For Mother's Day (Sunday, May 11), Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront is hosting a brunch from 10am-3pm in the ballroom foyer. Cost is $44 for the Adult Buffet, $22 for Kids Buffet, and free for kids under 5 years old. Members of the military can show their Military ID or the flyer at this link and receive 20% off the final bill. Reservations are required and can be made at 904-634-4543.
  • Mother's Day Brewquets @ Intuition Ale Works: What is a "Brequet" you might ask? A Brewquet is a basket filled with beer, an Intuition shirt, koozies, souvenir glassware, etc. May 8 is the last day to order and they can be picked up on Saturday, May 10. A Cooking with Intuition cookbook can be added for $35, which is $5 less than the retail price. The cookbook contains recipes created by chefs at some of our favorite restaurants in Jacksonville, like Taverna, Blue Bamboo, Orsay, Cafe Nola, 13 Gypsies, Bistro Aix, Mojo No 4, 29 South, and Taco Lu. Interested parties can learn more about the cookbook at this link and can order Brewquets at this Eventbrite link.
  • Mother's Day Brunch @ Azurea @ One Ocean Resort: This resort, located in Atlantic Beach, is a brief drive down A1A from Jax Beach and the restaurant is definitely worth the trip. Azurea is offering a special Mother's Day menu from 2pm-8pm with prices ranging from $8-$15 and entrees from $23-$30. Reservations are a must and can be made at 904-249-7402 or at OpenTable at this link. Items on the Mother's Day menu include appetizers like Chilled Charentais Melon Bisque (with Minneola tangerine and mango ratatouille) and Cashew Dusted Soft Shell Crab (with Charred tomatoes and onions, ancho chile, and sweet corn remoulade). Main course items include English Pea and Black Truffle Dumplings (served with shaved Pecorino Romano cheese) and Roasted Guinea Hen with "Biscuits and Gravy" (featuring biscuit and chicken apple sausage stuffing and cider braised collard greens).
