A mother in Missouri has been charged with child abuse and murder in the death of her four month-old infant. The woman allowed her boyfriend to rape the baby which resulted in the baby’s death.

Jessica Lynn Howell, 25, was charged in St. Charles County. Prosecutors revealed details of text messages Howell sent to her boyfriend, Jordan Lafayette Prince. In those text messages, Howell indicated that she would let Prince have sex with her daughter.

Howell went on to write that she knew he had been convicted on a prior charge of sexual abuse of a minor. Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar stated to KTVI, “In those text messages, she suggested and encouraged some unspeakable things.”

“It is very, very disturbing.” After sexually assaulting baby Ashlynn, Prince then strangled her to death. The probable cause document states, “Ashlynn was sexually assaulted causing multiple tears to her anus, a massive laceration to her rectum with massive hematoma in the area of the pelvis.”

“The injuries to her anus and rectum of Ashlynn were sufficient to eventually cause her death even without the strangulation.”

Howell is being held on $1 million bond while Prince remains in jail awaiting first-degree murder charges.
