A woman in Arizona was to the point in her life where she wanted to kill herself, and she reportedly tried multiple times to do it while in Santa Ana, California. Well, Newser reported on Sept. 16, 2013, that her two "bizarre botched attempts" at suicide ended up leading to the discovery of her dead children.
A report from police states that 42-year-old Marilyn Edge slammed her vehicle into an electrical box in a shopping mall parking lot. She also had a propane tank sitting in the front seat as she wrecker he vehicle, but the car didn't end up exploding as she had hoped.
Police got to the scene and ordered her out of her vehicle, but she attempted to strangle herself with an electrical cord. Police broke the car window, removed her, and it was then that she told paramedics about her two dead children.
The police ended up heading to a hotel room near Disneyland and finding Edge's 10-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son dead.
There were no stab nor gunshot wounds, and it is not yet evident as to how the children died.
Making things even weirder is that Edge was out in California for unknown reasons since she moved to Georgia from Arizona earlier this year. Relatives said that the father of the children is actually who had custody of them.
Edge has been arrested and booked on suspicion of murder in the deaths of the kids.
