Two years ago, Patches and her 10 puppies were surrendered to the Tunica Humane Society in Tunica, Miss., by a man who had lost his home and was living out of his car.
As is so often the case, the adorable, puppy-breath puppies soon found homes and left the shelter.
Unfortunately, two years later, Patches, beautiful and friendly as well, continues to wait for her own happily ever after.
Today, Patches, a shepherd/Labrador mix, is approximately five years of age.
The people who know Patches want nothing more than to see her in a home of her own where she will be a treasured companion and enjoy the comfort of being a part of her own family.
The following has been shared about this beautiful girl:
She is very low maintenance, really she just makes herself happy. When she is on the playground, she is always finding something to play with. It may be a frog or a bug or a stick but she has the best time entertaining herself, tossing it in the air or rolling around in the grass.
It wouldn't take much for Patches, a warm home, a soft bed, food and shelter. And maybe another dog to play with.
All that is needed is one person who is willing to see Patches' beauty - to fill the urge in their heart to provide her with a loving home.
Please take a moment to network Patches' information - her special someone is out there.
