Mote Marine Laboratory just unveiled a new website featuring Mote Farm-Raised Caviar and announced a special offer for the caviar at Whole Foods Markets throughout Florida.
The new Web site, www.motecaviar.com, tells the story of Mote’s Earth-friendly production of Siberian sturgeon caviar, provides caviar basics and showcases new recipes developed by top restaurants and caviar purveyors.
Mote Caviar is raised at Mote Aquaculture Park (MAP), where Mote has spent more than a decade developing the methods and techniques for farm raising Siberian sturgeon and other species while minimizing our environmental footprint. While some aquaculture facilities may use “new” fresh water as quickly as every 5 to 7 minutes, MAP cleans and re-uses fresh water for 5 to 7 days and uses the wastewater to grow plants for environmental restoration.
Mote is the second largest producer of farm-raised caviar in the U.S. So far this year, 3,000 pounds of caviar have been raised or are in production at MAP. Mote Caviar is sold through distributors across the nation, reaching all four corners of the U.S.
Mote Caviar can be purchased at Florida’s Whole Foods Markets and Costco stores, Morton's Gourmet Market in Sarasota or online at Costco.com. (Please call stores first to ensure it’s in stock.)
Caviar and champagne have never been a happier couple, thanks to a new special offer at Whole Foods Market stores throughout Florida. (Offer is valid in Florida stores only.)
Now through January 4, 2013, purchase a 750-ml or larger bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin and receive a coupon to save $10 instantly on 1 ounce of Mote Farm-Raised Caviar.
Veuve Clicquot is an international champagne house based in France and dedicated to “only one quality, the finest.”
