Clouds and a few sprinkles will linger across the area this morning. High pressure will gradually build across the area this afternoon, and the result will be increasing amounts of sunshine, especially across the western portions of the region. It will be cool with highs in the low to mid 60s.
Skies will clear tonight with lows falling to the low to mid 40s.
On Tuesday, high pressure will be firmly in control of the weather across northeastern Ohio. It will be sunny with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Tuesday night will be mostly clear with lows in the 40s.
On Wednesday, the high pressure system across our area will shift eastward and a return flow of warmer and more humid air will spread across the eastern Great Lakes. It will be partly sunny on Wednesday with highs climbing to the low to mid 70s.
Wednesday night will be partly cloudy early, then increasing cloudiness is expected after midnight as deeper moisture spreads across the area from the southwest. A few locations could see a shower. Lows will be in the 50s.
A cold front will move toward the area for the end of the week bringing us another period of unsettled weather. Thursday and Friday will feature intervals of clouds and sun along with the threat of scattered showers and thunderstorms. It will be warm and humid both days will highs ranging from the mid 70s to near 80 degrees.
